    All About Ducks

Hello all, I know you all must have a lot of questions. What is she looking at? What kind of pose is that anyway? Where did they find ducks? Or rather, where did the ducks find them? I know, I know. I’ll get to all of that.  But first let me give you the back story. I have a wonderful friend who has excellent fashion tastes. She ordered this dress from Tamar Landau, a perfectly lovely brand. Please check it out at www.tamarlandau.com For some reason, she decided the pattern wasn’t something she wanted to try to carry off, even though I insisted she totally could. She bequeathed it…

    “It’s a Dud, I Guess”

Hello all! First off, kudos to all of you who recognized that quote just now. For everyone else, please check out the original cartoon edition of “Charlotte’s Web”. It’s been giving children the wrong idea about spiders and bacon for many years now. I, for one, respected spiders for the longest time until I discovered that they don’t sing, much less make friends with other animals. Very disheartening. As Jo’s sister, one would think I would make better decisions than I do, especially those pertaining to fashion, but atlas- I’ve made some very foul fashion choices indeed. For the Love of Stripes

Hello all! Somehow I had allowed myself to be convinced that winter and I had officially broken up and that I should finally go out in public with sandals and light, flowy tops. Then March rolled around and Florida laughed at the awful joke it had played on us. Frankly, tights don’t look any good with sandals, so I broke out the oxfords and long sleeves once more. Saturday came around, however, and now we’re back to 80 degree temperatures. Thrown for a loop, I opted for an old faithful. Stripes. And oxfords. For some odd reason, I had brought brown flats and gold accessories for this outfit, but in…

    Outfits of the Week (2/26-3/2)

Skirt: Thrifted/Gap similar Shirt: Thrifted, Hollister similar Cardigan: Thrifted/Gap similar Shoes: Target exact Contrary to popular belief, I do occasionally work, and I’m blessed with an amazing job. Ever since my college days, I was so jealous of Jo’s being able to dress up every day for work and impress the corporate world. Now, I don’t impress any world, but working at my job has really improved my outfit game. Mondays are usually my only casual days, while the rest of the week is a hodge-podge of different styles. I like to experiment with my outfits at work before I try them out on the church scene. That way, I…
